Shri.T A Pai, founder of T A Pai Management Institute, had a vision to
establish management institute with an objective not only to strengthen the
existing educational and health infrastructure in Manipal, but also to provide
the much needed impetus to building professional management capability in the
country.The T. A. Pai Management Institute, popularly known as TAPMI,
was established in 1980 in pursuance of the vision of the late
Shri. T. A. Pai. The first batch of about 40 students was inducted
in 1984 -
